BUPA ARABIA FOR COOPERATIVE INSURANCE SEEKS CLIENT RESPONSES TO ENABLE THE PENDING SURPLUS DISTRIBUTION TO ITS POLICYHOLDERS FOR THE FISCAL YEARS 2009-2012, IF REQUIRED AND APPLICABLE
Bupa Arabia further announces that clients which are potentially entitled to the distribution of the cooperative distribution surplus to entitled policyholders, for the fiscal years ending 31 December 2009G, 2010G, 2011G and 2012G, in accordance with Article 70 (2e) of the Implementing Regulations of the Law on Supervision of Cooperative Insurance Companies, and the SAMA Surplus Distribution Policy regulations, are requested to contact Bupa Arabia, to establish if any amount is pending distribution:

Companies are requested to contact Bupa Arabia, through e-mail to the below e-mail addresses, stating contract name, contract number, and providing proof of company identification, through Commercial Registration (CR), preferably providing signed Bupa/Client contractual agreement, as well as full contact details (telephone number, cell phone number, email address, and fax number) in order to facilitate Bupa Arabia distributing 2009-2012 fiscal period cooperative distribution surplus, if required and applicable.
If a policyholder contract has fulfilled the loss ratio requirements a share in the respective period’s Cooperative Distribution of Bupa Arabia, provided the premiums due to Bupa Arabia in relation to the policyholder contract have been fully settled up to date, will be distributed, if required and applicable, via either, or a combination of: a) client debtor account credit, b) client renewal rebate, or c) client refund.
In accordance with the SAMA Surplus Distribution Policy regulations all the 2009-2012 Cooperative Distribution amounts will be deducted from the respective 2009-2012 Cooperative Distribution surpluses.
