Bupa Arabia leads social media presence in healthcare and insurance sector

Back in 2011 we had a big challenge to launch a competitive, user friendly and a highly usable online platform, to support Bupa Arabia objectives for years to come.  Bupa focus on Social media jump started early 2012.  Momentum picked up slowly until we decided to go aggressively on social media with online support and campaigns. 
 
At the beginning of 2013 we leverage all our internal resources to build the social media management team, we formulate the team, gave them three training sessions focusing on sales and products, medical and customer support. On Jan 2013 we had 12000 fans on Facebook and 3000 followers on Twitter.
 
We continue improving the level of engagement and interactivity with users to reach above average engagement rates on Facebook and twitter on June 2013.
 
Today we are top ranked among the group in social media with more than 100,000 fans and more than 40,000 followers on Twitter.
 
As a result the Group digital team will visit Saudi Arabia this week to talk about the great digital work Bupa Arabia is doing.
